- What grade did you start homeschooling? From the moment I was born… every day is a learning experience to me!
- What grade are you in now? I'll be a Sophomore! In high school, of course.
- How old were you when you started? 0 years old
- Do you like homeschooling? Of course! I have more freedom, more possibilities, and my dad is the best teacher in the world, in my opinion! ;-)
- Have you ever gone to school? No, not at all.
- How long did you go to school? Haven’t gone
- Do you intend to home school your kids when you grow up? Absolutely! It is the best environment for them to grow in.
- What are two things that you like about homeschooling? The flexibility I have regarding which subjects I spend the most time and effort on, and spending more time with my family. We all learn together!
- Do you totally go against public schools? I believe that homeschooling is the biblical path, but I don’t think we should look down on people who put their children in public school. I know that God can use it for His glory. However, I do not support public schooling, and I would strongly suggest homeschooling to anyone.
- Do you have friends who are not homeschoolers? Well, not really. All the activities I'm part of are for homeschoolers, and my church is comprised of homeschooling families! I have public schooled acquaintances, but my closest friends are homeschoolers.
- Is it hard to get along with public school friends? When we associate, it's not really hard.
- What is the first thing other people say when they find out that you homeschool? Well, sometimes they just make general comments like "Oh that's neat!" or "Cool!" Occasionally someone will ask me more about it, like what my favorite thing about it is. It depends on the person, place, and setting!
- Who are you going to tag? Anyone who likes to eat watermelon with salt
Another post coming soon! Hopefully before the week is up!

Ah, yes... I remember this tag. And it's a good thing I don't eat my watermelon with salt, or else I'd have to do it again. =) I think I'll try watermelon and salt sometime... My dad does it and he likes it! Of course, he puts ketchup on his baked potato...
But who am I to say anything? I enjoy quesedillas dipped in mashed potatoes! =D
You should try it sometime!

just out of curiosity, why did you tag people who like watermelon with salt? Do you like it that way or just the opposite? Anyway, pity my Mom doesn't have a blog, she'd have to do it. ;-) Though, she can use ours anytime she might find the liking to.
RYC: I would have posted the rest of 'Be Thou My Vision' but 1) the format kept getting messed up, and 2) that first verse is the one that's really been speaking to me of late. That's awesome that you have it memorized!
Sorry for being such stranger. I have a letter I wrote for you (last month) still waiting to be sent. It's probably somewhat out dated by now but I'll try and send it your way soon, today if possible. :-)
Oh! And I AM going... no, I didn't mean that to look like God's name... to fill you in on the avacado popsicles I made (last month) and thoroughly enjoyed!
Tell the family "Hi" for me and remind ACE to stop growing! ;-P
Love, Mellie

Homeschooling has so many advantages (and no not staying in bed past 8 am :-). Yes it is the Biblical way to teach us. Another thing, they teach evolution and are anti Christ in the public schools. God bless,

Tags, woot. Good think I never eat my watermelon with salt. :P
RYC: Lol, that was your little brother! Just don't tell him I said he was a girl when he grows up ;)
There are actually two versions of Beowulf. I haven't watched the first one but the latest one was really trashy. Yeah, why does the movie industry have to ruin movies so much? :(
Ok, got to run.
God bless,
Eric

Hi Grace!
Thanks for adding me. I left the last time because I thought I had too many blogs- but when it comes to HomeschoolBlogger, I think I can squeeze it in lol.
Grace is a 17 year old girl who is striving to follow God's leading, but would be constantly embracing failure if God didn't just sweep her off her feet, sometimes against her will. Music is her first love and expertise: specifically voice, but also piano. She has been trained classically, which is a good thing, most of the time, except when she wants to sing pop style... and can't. Her favorite genres of music are Celtic, Scottish and Irish folk songs/jigs, film music, and broadway show tunes. Grace also takes pleasure in the beautiful diversions of writing poetry, Ultimate Frisbee, sketching, dancing in the rain, Irish Step Dancing, speech and debate tournaments, scrapbooking, acting, reading, photography, standing outside at night while the wind whips the trees every which way, and talking about herself in the third person.
