Photo-shoots are endless sources of amusement. Here are some products of last Sunday's picture-taking session. (No, Emily and I do not do this very often. Very rarely, in fact. And it depends largely on what we're wearing.)

Victorian lady: that's my hat from a show I was in last summer.

From hat to tiara. How I got up into that tree with my full skirt is beyond me.

So, yes, we enjoyed ourselves!

Haha, photoshooting is great fun although it does take a lot of work.

RYC: I like the garden in the early morning or in the evening but the thing is that the bugs are so bad right now I can't even go out there without having to put on Raid. Lol.

Oh cool. I'll have to do that search again! I'll send any bugs I find to his email.

How fun! Your Victorian hat is simply exquisite! (Previous sentence spoken in proper British accent...) I would love to do more portrait photography, but it does take a little bit more time to set up than nature pictures... ;-)


I took a look at your family's new site of books. Its really a great resource! I was wondering from the lists of books, if your family uses the Bethlehem books catalogue? Some of my favorite books are from that company, and I noticed some on your site.

Those are really good pictures. I also love taken pictures. My cousin and I will dress up and take pictures all the time.
