Hello Grace!
Your outfit is cute! I really like that high note at the end though it was amazing;-)
That's really cool that you got to sing the solo, is it fun?
I wont see you until graduation, how sad!
Oh well, see yo then!
~Anna
My Mom's here at the Maisano's now. So all's well.
I know we should have an ARC summer party!
Are you doing LD next year? Because I'm thinking about doing LD. It depends on the reseloution ;-)
See you!

Absolutely superb...both music and the performance! You really ought to make some kind of recording.
@Josie: "*smile*"? That's all I get? How about telling me what you think about it or something, since I'm sure you could give me ideas on how to improve. ;-) Love ya.
@Owen: Thanks! Actually, I have a CD of some of the songs I've done. Well, two CDs, but one is from 2007, and the most recent one is from this past Christmas. My dad and I record them. They're not professional, or anything, but the sound quality is good, and that's all that matters! Next time you go to the A's, ask them about it. I gave Alex my most recent CD earlier this year. If you want, I could mail you one... if I can find one. I know they're lying around here somewhere! ;-)

Hello. Are you online? HSB says you are, but I don't really rely on that. If you are can we chat on my cbox? (or if you have gmail or MSN we can chat with either of those) just wondering. Byelio! ~COCOA

Beautiful little song bird! :) I bet it was even better in person! lol I love your outfit too.
Yes the dance is so much fun! But you need the music for the dance so that's why I went and looked it up ;-)
Plus it's fun music. I like playing iton my tinwhistle ;-)
Grace, dearest, this is fabulous. Charming, lovely performance, and performer. :) The dress is adorable, your voice is beautiful, and you are so pretty. Where is this song from? I love it! ;)
The titles you suggested for my poem are good, btw. :) I kind of am comfortable with it remaining a nameless work, but I guess it's time I name it, eh? :P The poem is quite lovely, if I do say so myself...only I do hope it depicts what is intended...A fair and beautiful lassie on the Ireland coast...how her heart is so anchored in her homeland..how not even the pounding rain can drive her from her sea... Her lover is wandering there on the shore and approaches her, beckoning her to come with him, this showing that though not even the sudden storm that had blown up from the sea could make her turn back, when her lover came, she went away with him. :D heehee.. I've had a charming scene like this envisioned in my mind for some time and just had to bring it to life somehow.
Yep. I've read your version of "These are a few of my Favorite Things". It *was* very very fun to write. I crammed in a lot of "likes" too.. ;)
Love ya! <3

Oh, you have such a lovely voice! I love 4:00-4:05. That part sounded so clear! And the high note at the end was sung very beautifully. All in all, magnificent. Thanks for sharing.
Be blessed,
Zel

I loved that song -- I was so lucky to get to see it live! =) You did a great job; you've got an amazing talent, Grace! Thanks for using it for God. =)
So are you going to join symphony next year? *hopes and wishes and crosses fingers* I hope so! :)
Alex, I wish with all my heart that I was coming, but I'm not. Wish it was closer. :-( I know it'll be fabulous, and I hope you have a wonderful time!! Thanks for watching the video and commenting- it was great to hear from you. I miss everyone. :'(
Thank you! It took me a long to make it but it was fun:-D
Oh yes I remeber that comment too :-)
I wanted to talk to you really bad, but I was really shy (even on blogging I'm shy! ;-) It's been so much fun knowing you and it was awesome getting to meet you that the tournament! I love speech and debate I wish it went over the summer;-)
I was reading some of your older posts and I found the one where you wrote your own words to 'These are a few of my favorite things' I loved it!
It was so much reading it ;-)
I liked your 'Scotland' poem, I was trying to think up a tune for it... ;-)
Are you going be at KG's house?
I hope you can come that would be so awesome!!!
Love ya'!

Hey Tabitha! Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.
Nope, unfortunately I have dropped cello, so that I could focus on other things... things I'm more successful at, lol! Anyways, I'll miss you kids, though.
Y'all's blog is too cute. ;-)

Oh THANKS Grace! I'm GLAD you like our blog. You SHOULD miss us, we're, like, impossible not to miss!!! Since you dropped cello, I hope it's for a good reason! :P I know, focusing on singing and piano, but don't give up on that cello!
Love ya!!

Grace is a 16 year old girl who is striving to follow God's leading, but would be constantly embracing failure if God didn't just sweep her off her feet, sometimes against her will. Music is her first love and expertise: specifically voice, but also piano. She has been trained classically, which is a good thing, most of the time, except when she wants to sing pop style... and can't. Her favorite genres of music are Celtic, Scottish and Irish folk songs/jigs, film music, and broadway show tunes. Grace also takes pleasure in the beautiful diversions of writing poetry, Ultimate Frisbee, sketching, dancing in the rain, Irish Step Dancing, speech and debate tournaments, scrapbooking, acting, reading, photography, standing outside at night while the wind whips the trees every which way, and talking about herself in the third person.
