Hi Grace!
Lovely pictures! The riverside setting is very pretty and fitting for the theme...
especially that wonderful little waterfall!
I must say my favorites are the ones of Emily with her violin and of you doing archery ... I love archery... but with a recurve of course! They're so much more elegant than compounds! ;-)
Oh yes...Did you all make the dresses?
Have a great day!

Your costumes look like you're fresh from a fairy tale, Grace. Beautiful. I'll have to direct my little sister over here because she enjoys the medieval time period as well.
It would be handy to charge my phone more often but the problem is that I'm between houses right now taking care of my Grandpa so I don't know where I'll be able to access my charger. But that my friend is another blog in itself :P
And a quote for that road that I know you'll enjoy: "Books loved anyone who opened them, they gave you security and friendship and didn't ask anything in return; they never went away, never, not even when you treated them badly." - Cornelia Funke.

I love those pictures, Grace...notably the one of the four of you in the river. One of the few times that wouldn't be called irresponsible, though I can hardly imagine you caring a fig. ;)
Blessings,

What lovely feminine dresses and what lovely photos! I especially like the last one of you with the bow... bows and medieval dresses so go together! LOL
Your post was thought-provoking, Grace. :) Thank you for sharing. :)

You post is somewhat incomplete. It needs a tall knight (with huge shoulders) to come riding up and save one of you from being swept away by a sudden current.....

Grace! I love those photos! You are all so loverly and feminine looking. :-) I wish I had a dress like one of those. *le sigh* But, knowing me, I would probably end up getting inkstains and coffee stains on it. ;-) Did you make the dresses yourselves?
Have a blessed weekend!

Hey all, I'm sorry I've been so neglectful of your comments. :-/
We did not make the dresses, but a good friend of mine lent them to us. Very kind indeed.
Grace is a 16 year old girl who is striving to follow God's leading, but would be constantly embracing failure if God didn't just sweep her off her feet, sometimes against her will. Music is her first love and expertise: specifically voice, but also piano. She has been trained classically, which is a good thing, most of the time, except when she wants to sing pop style... and can't. Her favorite genres of music are Celtic, Scottish and Irish folk songs/jigs, film music, and broadway show tunes. Grace also takes pleasure in the beautiful diversions of writing poetry, Ultimate Frisbee, sketching, dancing in the rain, Irish Step Dancing, speech and debate tournaments, scrapbooking, acting, reading, photography, standing outside at night while the wind whips the trees every which way, and talking about herself in the third person.
