"Folk" Tales

3:41 AM

It's 3:41 AM and I can't sleep.  It seems that this may be our last night in the RV.  Yes, you read right.  Have I ever mentioned that my husband and I are rather spontanious (it's dark and I don't have my dictionary handy, so please excuse the spelling).  Apparently, we forgot to think of a major issue that God revealed to us on Sunday morning.

We worship at home.  We usually have one other family and Paul's mom join us for breakfast, prayer, singing and teaching.  The RV is large enough to accomadate our little group, and we didn't feel like it would be impossible to continue meeting together in it after we sell the house.  Then, two weeks ago, Paul's brother and his family began coming, and this week, another family of 4 came with him.  When we added the two extra visitors that our original family brought along, there were 21 of us worshiping together and two "regulars" were out of town.

What a wonderful problem we have.  There is no way that 23 people can get into this RV -- unless we're in the circus dressed as clowns.

So, do we continue with "our plan" that seems best for us and our finances and future, or do we consider that our plan may not be God's plan?

It's after 4 AM now and I am not coherent enough to know if any of this makes sense to anyone but me.  I'm going to play internet spades.

Wow! Corey, it sounds like God isn't finished yet. I can't wait to see what He does with all of this. Following His plan is known for being an adventure, but it sure is interesting to see what He's doing in and through you. :')

I'll pray that you all have a wonderful, clear counsel from the Holy Spirit in what to do and how to go about the works He's planned in advance for you to do. :')

Can you meet to worship somewhere else?

This is a tough one. You will just have to listen carefully and follow God's lead. It will all work out!
