Sad News

As I said good-bye to "S", "T" and "D" on Tuesday to come on vacation, I kissed D on the head, told her to be a sweet girl and that I loved her.  Little did I know that she would not be there when I returned.    My BIL and his wife have decided that they can't work out their marriage and she came to our house and got D to take back to Virginia.  (D is "hers" from a previous relationship.)  I am so saddened by what this eight year old child is enduring.  Such instability - not to mention that the siblings are separated once again.

Please Lord, draw this family to you.

Corey

Oh, that is heartbreaking. I pray that you will be able to stay in her life in some way.

So tragic, adults can be so selfish. Just remember that she's never out of the reach of God, keep praying for her.

Hi Corey,
Glad to hear that you all got a little mini-vacation. We just came back from one ourselves.

How very sad about the children. Thankfully God knows and cares - casting all our cares upon Him for He careth for us. I will continue to pray for the children.

Oh Corey, I am sure your heart aches for her. Even though you only go to be in her heart (at least for now, you never know what the future will bring) for a short time, I am sure you have left a huge positive mark on her. I am a big believer that even when things are brief, God's plan is still involved. Hang in there. I will add her to my prayers.

Corey,

I hadn't "checked in" on you for awhile--we have a chicken pox "epidemic" at our house! I have been praying for these sweet children and will especially continue to keep them in my prayers.

Blessings to you and your family!
