Mondays

I love Mondays.  WHAT?!?!  I know some of you love Mondays too!  To me, it's a day to start all over, a fresh start to a new week.  A day I can wake up and say, "I'm going to get it right this time."  The little resolutions you made the week before can be put into practice.

  • I am going to eat breakfast instead of having only a cup of coffee/hot cocoa
  • I am going to walk a mile with Leslie Sansone each morning
  • I am going to be careful about how much I eat

You know the drill... I've only listed some of my weekly goals to tone up.  If I were to write all of my personal goals, you'd be reading a book.   I use Mondays to begin again.  It's not a day to dread, it's a day to celebrate - like having New Years Day, but weekly.  New Weeks Day - LOL - and Sunday night is New Weeks Eve.

Meeting downtown sounds great. My kids also are hunting a fishing hole. You don't happen to have one do you? I so wish we hd some land with a pond. I want to make it downtown again next week or the following. The flowers are so beautiful and I want to get there before everyone is out of school.

Very cool! Maybe I'll try that rather than my usual, "Uggh! I didn't get anything done this weekend!" :)

Blessings with all of your goals. I think God constantly gives us Mondays - new starts...that's a great attitude.

I like Mondays too. Sundays are so hectic for us and I regret that. But Mondays, we just usually take it easy.

May. 10, 2009 - We're in a new room

I didn't want to call and disrupt the festivities today, but DID want to let you know that we got moved to room 5512 (my favorite!) today. I would hate for you to walk into the wrong room one day! BTW, I LOVE the picture of Julia after getting her hair cut. What a smile!!

Hope you are having a great day. :-)

What is your day looking like tomorrow (Monday). I know we talked about getting together this week in Gville. Just wanted to see if you were still planning that. Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful. We have guitar at 12 that I can cancel if you still want to go.

And just think, you can have 52 fresh starts a year instead of just one at the beginning of the year, lol...
But I do understand, especially with kids and homeschooling, its nice to know that we can start fresh again on Monday...

Yes, living in the desert you don't often see grass, though a few people do have it. Some of the grass is not real, however.. I am originally from WA (south of Seattle), it took some adjusting to the lack of green, grass and trees (other than palm trees & a few others). I love the desert, it has it's own beauty. Actually this new neighborhood is greener than the one we moved from and we are only 10 miles away.
