Let the Olympics (unit studies) begin!
The 2008 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, begin today in Beijing, China. Games will be held from August 8-24, 2008, so there's plenty of time for a unit study! Of course you could study China (the language, land, customs, history, food...) world geography (as the different countries are represented), or the history of the Olympics. Need more ideas?
