It's been awhile again.  I am so bad at this blogging stuff!  I don't know if I will ever get better with keeping it up to date, but anyway!  Ok, so I have been on Phentermine & Meridia for a year, and I've lost 100 pounds!  Wow! I can't even believe it!  We are riding bikes now, too, and that has helped!  My hubby said something to me, that made me feel good and that was, I think your butt is getting smaller!  (He NOTICED!  Anyway!  So, for the first time in such a long time, I actually am beginning to feel good about myself.  I don't like my reflection yet, but I'm getting there.  I am continuing school thru the summer, and they aren't thrilled about that, but they do get time outside, as long as they get their work done, including chores.  My girls are learning how to do their own laundry.  They have known how to do the dryer for quite awhile now, and they bring up the baskets for me, but now they are sorting their own, and putting it in the wash machine, and then I help them get the detergent so they can put it in.  

Makayla and I had an extremely rough week last week.  She was so defiant, and I completely broke down yesterday.  I called James, as he was on his way home, and I was in tears.  I explained to him what she was doing, and how I just was at the end of my rope.  I couldn't handle it anymore.  So he told me he would deal with her when he got home.  Well, we had some miscommunication.  I assumed and he assumed and well you know what that means!!!  He called me to come get him, and I said ok.  Well, after I had hung up with him, Makayla and I talked, because her and I have really bonded, and we can do that, but I made her understand how much I was hurting inside, and how upset I was with her for her actions.  So, I told my hubby when he called that her and I had just been talking things thru, and he thought that I had handled it because I had talked to her.  I explained to him, that that was not the case, as I was explaining to her why Dad needed to take over, and why I had to call him.  So here she is expecting Dad to deal with her, and well, it never happened.  So, he and I communicated that he & I have to communicate better about that, especially when I call him and ask him to take care of something.  He told me that he would still emphasize to her that she has to pay for her actions. 

My Dad is having a heart cath this week.  The last time he had this done, he was admitted for emergency quadruple by-pass surgery.  That was almost 11 years ago.  He had it right before Makayla was born.  I will never forget that day, as I was at work, and got a phone call at work during my baby shower from my Mom telling me he was in Emergency surgery.  He made it thru that fine, but 4 weeks after his surgery, he was having trouble breathing.  He was re-admitted due to an error that the doctor made by stapling his lungs to his chest cavity.  He had to have 2 chest tubes inserted into his sides.   Anyway, I'm blabbing, and I have some other stuff to do, so I'm signing off for now.  Hopefully it won't be as long next time!!
