A hearty heartland welcome to this site! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I am sure I will enjoy writing it. Most of all, I hope that in the long run, you will find it spiritually profitable.

My first concern is of course of the spiritual nature. Where will you spend eternity? The book of Romans in the Bible tells us that we are ALL sinners and thus separated from God. But God in love, sent His own Son, Jesus Christ to be born as a baby, to grow up and die on the cross for you and for me. That is great news, because you and I can have a personal relationship with God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, if we will only acknowledge our sin before God, and place our faith alone in Jesus Christ as the one complete sacrifice for our sins. That is it! It is ONLY through Jesus that we can have a right relationship with God. There is no other way! Not baptism, not church attendance, not good works, not keeping the 10 commandments, not anything....you fill in the blank...it is only through Jesus Christ and His shed blood on the cross that you can have a relationship with God and thus spend an eternity in Heaven with Him. Apart from belief in Jesus Christ, you will die in your sins and have to pay the penalty for sin yourself in an eternal Hell. I pray... and I plead with you to accept and believe what Jesus has done for you TODAY!
