Another Birthday at our House!

Twenty years ago today we welcomed a new baby boy into our family! He had beautiful copper colored red hair (and lots of it too) and blue eyes. He used to suck his thumb and hum himself to sleep at night. As he grew, he played lots of football and hockey with his buddies from church. He did VBS with his older sister with whom he fought with when they were kids, but today they are good friends. He and his younger brother were always good friends--always gaming together, or playing football or hockey, or just hanging out. He was always very athletic and bright, and loved math. He could sing well, and play piano and trumpet. He soon will begin his sophomore year in college. He continues to work hard at his job, where he works 20 hrs a week, and also serves faithfully in his church. He works out daily and works just as hard in his spiritual walk, by reading and studying God's Word. It's hard to believe he is now a man. He is a nice guy and will make a good husband to some nice young lady (no bias here, huh?). It has been a blessing to watch him develop, and grow into the godly man he is today.
