guitar hero 3

Okay, it’s finally here , my guitar hero 3 review!!

CAREER MODE

In career mode you play sets of songs and as you complete them you unlock more. There are 8 sets of songs with 42 songs in all. You have to complete a certain amount of songs to continue to an additional encore song. In hard and expert mode you have to complete all of the songs in the set which I don’t likeL.

To progress to the next set of songs you must complete the first. New to the series there are boss battles in which you battle 3 different characters. After completing a song you get money to spend on characters, guitars and bonus songs. the boss battles are also a nice addition.

Beating a song in career mode will unlock it in quick play. GH3 has a storyline (unlike other games in the series) told through cartoon cut scenes. The band you play as starts out as a garage band and then signs a contract with a record producer named Lou.

After they make a successful music video together the band moves on to a prison to play at. After playing there, they are invited to play at “the dessert rock tour”. After playing very clumsily at Japan Lou reveals that he is the devil, and the contract they signed was for their souls.

They are dragged down to Lou’s inferno. You must defeat Lou in a battle in order to complete the game. I think your record producer being the devil is a nice twist.

CO-OP CAREER

In co-op career you play with a friend on the same game, someone plays Lead guitar and someone play bass. There are only 6 sets of songs and the encore songs are new songs to co-op career. There isn’t any boss battle in co-op. But because there isn’t, it takes some of the fun out of career mode. But other then that, It’s a lot of fun.

I give it an A-

SERIOUSLY,I could have made this better, but I had no time at allll.
