Sep. 8, 2006 - Frugal Friday by Biblical Womanhood....my tip on books

I thought I would participate in this.  Here is my tip:

Use your library as much as possible.  If you have a book that you want to buy check your library to see if they have it.  Read the book and take notes, save money!!  Also if it is something you want to have in your home library you can get it on ebay or amazon in the marketplace.  I bought my dh a book through that route (amazon marketplace) and it only cost me $4.90.  The book was regular priced at $19.95.  It was for sale in the Amazon Marketplace for .99 cents and then there was shipping on top of that.  What a deal!!  I made my dh proud.

I am going to attempt to put the logo on here from Crystal.  Well that didn't work.  I will just post the link to her blog.  http://www.biblicalwomanhood.com/blog.htm

Blessings~ Holly

So glad you're back.
We are avid library users. I purchase very few books, only if I've checked them out repeatedly. The library has saved me tons of money.

Sep. 25, 2006 - Such good advice

Posted by WonderlandLearningCenter

We use our library quite a bit but our cover school has such an extensive resouce center we use that as well. Thankfully we have put out very little for our curriculum. We thought it would be much more expensive. Please view our little part of the world as we also raise chickens for eggs and meat. We started with 24 we now have four kinds and almost a hundred. We incubate them, as well as letting the hens incubate them. They are so sweet when first hatched , which by the way is upside down if you didn't already know that. Jeanne
