Oct. 28, 2005 - Do you want to know more about Homesteading?
The best conservative Homesteading website I have come across is this:
She also has a blog here in Homeschool Blogger.
I will be recommending some homesteading books sometime soon.
Enjoy!

Holly ,
I'd be glad to help you with your template. Yes, you will lose changes, BUT I always save mine in Notepad (or Word) then I can just copy and paste the items from the sidebar in my new template.

Great website -- thanks for sharing!!!
A good book to get if you're learning about homesteading is Family Friendly Farming by Joel Salitin. It is more farming than homesteading per se, but homesteading in many ways is just farming on a small scale. Joel Salatin never comes out and declares himself a Christian but by reading his book (he has other books on raising chickens and raising beef) I think he is. You can find or order in his books at Borders. They *are* expensive, but worth it.
I can't wait to see what the homesteading blog and newsletter in works ends up being!
