Feb. 2, 2006 - Do I get visitors here?

I know this is my fault since I have not been very good at keeping this blog updated.  I am wondering if I am having any visitors because my counter is saying my visitors are dropping off.  I used to get about 1000 a month but in January I got 215 hits.  My report graph is showing a steady decline. 

 

What can I do to make this blog exciting for people and will encourage people to check back??

Oct. 18, 2005 - I am still here!!

This has a been a very busy week for me.  I will try to do some posting tonight especially my goals for my 5th grade son.  I am hoping to post some of our chicken pictures on here as well.  I thank you all for coming here.

Oct. 6, 2005 - I uploaded my picture for the avatar...

It is a bit fuzzy.  So I will post it again here in this entry.  I hope this works. 

 

I did it!!  Well, this is me and my dd.  This is our Christmas (2004) picture at my  mom's house.  I will call my dd princess in this blog.

Oct. 3, 2005 - Blinkies: I love them!!

Take a look at the blinkies I put under the About Me category.  It was easy once I figured out the code with the help of Kris of ClassicalEducation4Me and Amy Beth of My Smokey Mountian Homeschool.  Thanks guys for all your help!!

Oct. 2, 2005 - I fixed the categories problem.

I read the code and compared it to my other codes.  I got rid of the bold and added the title.  I am very happy about this.   Thanks for helping me!!

 

Now I will be attempt to put a links section.

Sep. 30, 2005 - Well I attempted to put categories section on my side bar...

and I failed.  ha ha  The categories are there but it is too bold.  I do not want it black or bold print.  I can't even get the title Categories to appear above it.  I guess I really need help with the HTML stuff.  I will fix this tomorrow and see what I find out on the help board.  If you know what I am doing wrong feel free to tell/show me.

Sep. 30, 2005 - I added a counter to this blog.

I am trying to become a Mind and Media reviewer.  So I added the counter to my sidebar on the side to count how many people are coming to this blog.  I wish I can find the one that has the actual numbers posting on the blog.  hhhmm

 

Anyway I need to get 1000 hits on my blog within a month.  Hopefully I will make it!!

Sep. 30, 2005 - Warning!! I will be messing with my blog's template during the next few weeks.

I am wanting to change the template codes to add categories to the side bar.  Also to change my background.  I know nothing about HTML so please bear with me if I made a big goof.

Sep. 30, 2005 - YES! My hours are now officially shorter. I can post more here

So keep a lookout for more postings.  I am going to concentrate on school stuff mainly and maybe some other things.  I am trying to become a Mind and Media Reviewer.  I have to put a tracker on my blog so I can be approved.  I have to have 1000 per month in order to qualify.  Can you guys help me??  I will post more things to keep this blog moving along.

Sep. 20, 2005 - I am still here....

Well next week I will be doing more postings as my work hours will be cut shorter.  I am so glad.  My body is taking a toll right now.  I am tired and irritable.  Everything is falling apart here at home.  Laundry is piling up, school grading is piling up, toys piling up everywhere....It never ends!! 

 

Anyway I am hoping to do alot more postings and chaning on my blog such as adding background and different pictures to add pizazz to this blog.  It seems so blah.  I do not know HTML period.  I want to learn about blog designs and HTML so I can spice this up!!

 

Kris of classicaleducation4me has been giving me instructions on how to do it.  If I need help she will help me.  So be forewarned if I made a big boo boo.  Just wanted to warn you all ahead of time.

Sep. 13, 2005 - a blog here at HSB needs to be checked out by EVERYBODY!!

Cindy Rushton's blog!!!  It has so many gems!!  It is a treasure trove.  Look over to my friends section on the right hand column.  Clilck on Cindy Rushton and then go over to her right hand column and she has treasures to share with all of us from homeschooling, keeping the home, romance in the marriage (some articles are for men too!!), and so on.  You want to know about something I bet you she has an article about it. 

 

I have been blessed by her blog!!  She has several Ezines you can subscribe for free.  I have been blessed by Cindy when I subscribed to her hard copy Time for Tea magazine long ago before she became electronic.  So go check her out today!!

Sep. 13, 2005 - I am still here but very very busy

I am still working from Sunday evening (to clean the church and get it ready for the daycare and academy) to Thursday night.  My hours will be cut back to normal hours in a couple of weeks.  I will do more postings but it will be more of a homeschool postings of what we did and maybe some pics.  I will be giving my kids fake names so I do not reveal who they are.  So do check back in a couple of weeks and see how we are doing!!

Aug. 27, 2005 - Sorry for not keeping up with the blog....

I have been so busy.  I am now working everynight except Saturday night.  This will be for about 6 weeks.  My postings will be here and there.  I am still going to post my curriculams for the boys soon.  I have so many things I want to write but time is very short and precious to me.  So please keep checking back every now and then.
