Quaker Anne's Children's Stories

Posted in Homeschooling

I found a wonderful little resource for true life stories on the internet, and I wanted to share them with all of you.  Quaker Anne's Children's Stories are wonderful little short stories of things that happen on their farm.  You can read them (for free) right in your web browser.  These short stories will make excellent additions to your study of the farm, bees, farm animals, or snow.  I know that some of you may be using lap books or unit studies on these subjects, and what better way to make these topics come to life than to add some true to life stories to your resources.  Best of all these stories have full color photographs to go along with the stories.

Currently Quaker Anne has the following stories available:

How Bees Make Honey
A Chicken is Born
A Haircut for Sheep
A Baby Horse is Born
A Baby Goat is Born
The Story of Orphan Annie
How Maple Syrup is Made
Making Sugar Snow Candy
See a Baby Bunny Grow (from 1 day old to 6 weeks)

Coming Soon are:

Barnabas Bunny's Big Adventure
Lassie Saves a Lamb

This is an excellent resource and I hope that you will bookmark this site in your favorites for use again and again.  Here is the link:  http://www.quakeranne.com/stories.html

Blessings!
