Well, here is my very first, brand new blog!! I did not want to be "anonymous" anymore when I logged on to record my reviews for The Old Schoolhouse (TOS).
Hopefully I will come by and add new things along the way.
This year for school we are mainly using:
Sonlight for History, Bible and Reading
Math U See for Math
Apologia for Science (Zoology 2 and General Science)
Classical Conversations (CC) Foundation for Memory
Veritas Press for Timeline (part of the CC curriculum if you follow their program)
Just about every class has Bible as a part of it. Additionally, our children are involved in church programs for additional memorization and Bible Study.
We do not do CC with a large group, but do with our homeschooling neighbors and the 2 kids she watches. So, there are 10 children all together who participate in this.
We also take part in a co-op for Science Experiments, History projects, Lapbooking and Art.

About Me
Our school is named after the 5 stones the biblical David gathered to slay Goliath. My husband's name is David and our last name means "Rock". So, we thought this would be an appropriate title. We are seeking to smooth out the rough edges on our 6 little stones and send them out to be used by God.
