Mar. 12, 2007 - Thoughts of the day.....
Today was another beautiful day! It was tough getting up for work because of the time change. But, I made it and had a good day. I took the car beacuse I had to go the the Social Security office to change the name on my card from my maiden name to my married name ( I've only been married 18 years!). 
It was a very pleasant experience...in and out in 15 minutes. It would have taken half the day back in Annapolis. Since I had the car I drove out to a cotton field during my lunch break and had a lovely walk. Then, I went back to the parking lot and sat in the car enjoying the sun and listening to "Loggins & Messina".
Joshua got his first buzz cut yesterday! My friend, Tiara, cut it for him when I went to pick up Sara from her house. He looks like like a mini William!!! I can't believe it! Of course, that just made me miss William and realize just how fast kids grow.
Sara spent the night at Sharla's house on Saturday. The girls wore sarongs and made a Thai dish. Then they sat around the bon fire roasting marshmellows. She had a great time! I am so glad she is finally making a friend!
I need to do some lesson planning this week. Now that the play is over it is time to get back on track. I guess I will take some paperwork to work with me tomorrow.
It is only 7:30 pm, but I am ready to go to bed. I can hear the kids playing outside and the smell of freshly plowed earth is wafting in through the open windows.. The farmer that rents land from us just plowed. I wonder what he is going to plant? This past summer and Fall it was wheat and then soybeans. Oh my gosh, those fresh soybeans were so good! I was going out to the field and eating them! 
OK, off to bed to read a good book and get a good nights sleep!

belive me im more excited that im makeing a friend i was so scared she wasnt going to like comming over because we threw all the hickmans on her at once! lol i love joshies hair he dose look like william he liked that you could tell! cant wait to see you again!
