Jul. 1, 2007 - Life Comes at You Fast.....Dodge!

Every once in awhile life throws you a curve ball and I have been tossed one!  Yep, it has been a long time since I have posted and for that I apologize.  But, hey, curve balls can be tricky and complicated.   Mine definitly has been!

First, I am still working at Wally World.  I decided to stay on after the remodel and it was a good decision.  I am cashiering in Lawn & Garden and I am really enjoying it!  I have made some great friends, I get to be outside and I am surrounded by pretty flowers and plants.   What could be better?

Secondly, and rather sadly, I have seperated from my husband of 18 years.  Please do not judge my decision.  It was not made lightly but, rather, with great thought.  It is something that has been in the works for quite some time.  I feel so much better.  Like a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders!  I have lost weight (something I have needed to do) and I am happier!

William has returned!!!!!   He arrived in Missouri on June 9th!  My goodness has he changed!  He is so tall, about 6' 1" and has really filled out.  Gone is the argumentative, troublemaker little kid.  Now, he is patient, loving and tolerant of his siblings.

Joshua went back to Maryland & West Virginis with my parents.  he is having a blast playing with his cousins, Dakota & Lhasa, going to sports camp and building forts.

Sara is going to SPLAT Youth 2007 in Greensboro, NC with our church.  She leaves July 10th and will return July 16th.  Then, she will fly to Maryland and will join Joshua at my sister's place in West Virginia.  The beginning of August my sister, her family, Joshua & Sara will drive to Cape Cod for 2-3 weeks to visit our Great Uncle.

Meanwhile, Richard & I are trying to come to terms on the sale of the mobile home park.  I will stay in Missouri until the divorce is final and then, well, who knows~~it's a big country and I am not sure where we will go, yet!  It's kinda in God's hands!  My new song is "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield.  That kinda sums it up for me.

Our homeschooling has been on hold for awhile to make room for life's little lessons.  After all, in the words of Charlotte Mason "Life is Education"!  I am looking forward to getting "back on track", as they say. We will still use Sonlight, which I adore.

I have been going to Al Anon meetings.  I can't recommend them enough!  The ladies are nice and I have a friend, from Wal Mart, who goes with me.  She has been a great sponser for me.

I need to get ready for work.  Please keep me in your prayers!
