Sep. 14, 2007 - I Believe It's Time For Me To Fly.......

In the words of REO Speedwagon, yep, it is time to move one!  After a family pow wow, Sara, Josh and I have decided to hit the road and travel southwest ,Missouri!  It is an area we had considered a year and a half ago before we bought the property we have now.  There were two pretty parks for sale we just fell in love with the area.
The town we are moving to is a charming Civil War Era town known for its maple trees and civil war history

I have put in for a transfer to three of the  Wal- Marts in the area. I'm in holding mode until I hear back from one of the stores.   We can move anytime after the 21st of October due to our commitment with the theater.  Sara and Joshua are acting in their third performance, "Peter Pan" running from October 18-21.
We don't know anyone in the area.  However, we are making some connections thanks to our assistant pastor and his wife.  They both grew up in the area and recently transferred to the church here in and miss the area.  They have been very encouraging about upcoming move and have given us several contacts.
I was thrilled to discover that there is a very active home school group where we are moving and have already been in contact with them. They have been very inviting and I look forward to getting involved with the group.
Sara and I will both be going to college. We are applying to a couple of colleges. I would like to teach at a Christian school. Sara is also considering a women's college.  I will be going for my Early Childhood Development degree and Sara will be studying to be a high school history teacher!
As for William, he has decided to stay with his father and it will be hard to leave him and move 300 miles.  He is now attending a public high school and seems to be enjoying it.  My homeschooling paid off as he was able to walk in and start classes with no problems and he is breezing through his assignments.  I miss him.  I don't see him too often even though he is only 4 miles away.  He has some anger at me because of the divorce and it will just take some time.

So, now I just have to figure out to drive 60 feet of vehicles down the road and we should be OK!  I got in the driver's seat today and started up the engine to let it idle a bit and Sara started laughing at me.  She said she didn't see how I was going to drive the RV because I was so short and I looked small sitting there!  Well, I told her that I felt quite comfortable, I could see out of all my mirrors and I have the back-up camera!

That is all for now!  I need to get back to work on the costumes for the play! Sara is a pirate and Joshua is a lost boy.  Both have speaking parts and I was amazed at how quickly they learned their lines and cues.

Blessings!
