Sep. 17, 2007 - Patience is a virtue....

When, oh when , will I learn to just sit back and wait for God's guidance?  Why must I be so impatient and anxious about my future?  I have a friend who reminds to just be patient and Trust the Father Spirit for He knows where to lead me.  I should listen to my friend more often for he is wiser than me!
Last night I cried and cried and finally prayed (as in the song) "Jesus, take the wheel 'cause I can't do this anymore."  This morning when I went into work James, the store manager, told me he had approved my transfer! So, during my lunch break,  I called the stores I am interested in transferring to.  The closest one will keep me posted will keep me posted.  Gina, the front end manager for the next closest store, asked me to call back the week of October 13th. However, the third store was very interested in having me asap.  They need cashiers and can give me close to 40 hours a week.  I am to call the front end manager, Steve,  on Thursday when he returns from a re-model.  I was hoping for the other two stores because they are closer to where I will be living.  The  store that is interested in me is 19 miles away, about a 1/2 hour drive. It doesn't matter...I will take whichever store offers me a position first!  I need to "Let Go and Let God" more often!
Sara is very excited!  She says she wants to go before Halloween.  I was surprised because  a few days ago she wanted to stay here until after Halloween.  I had originally planned on going out to our new town after Thanksgiving but, again, Sara asked if we could go sooner.  I was concerned about leaving Richard and William for both holidays.  Sara said that many families get divorced and are apart for holidays and we will be OK.  Richard was not interested in discussing the holidays.  She is right...since the stores are hiring for Christmas help now.  Also, she would like to get a job at the Civil war museum as soon as she can.

I'll write later when I have more news!
