Well, I now can offically say, I am not a country girl!! We took the kids to the Rodeo tonight, and it was fun, oh for about......30 minutes!! (giggle) It was so hot, and I really do not like sweating,unless I am exercising in an air conditioned room.lol, Then my feet were killing me, because I wore cowboy boots that of course, I only wear once a year, to take the kiddos to the Rodeo,ok and the street dance, so twice a year. So now I will Praise the good Lord that this is only a twice a year thing. We went to the funeral home tonight to pay our condolences to the family of my husbands friend who passed away a few days ago, I think this may have been in my blog that didn't show up, so I will tell you again just in case, He was riding 4 wheelers with his friends at the lake and it was getting dark, he drove off about a 35 foot cliff and fell in the water, it took several hours to find him, they presume that he drowned, and while the search crew was looking for him, his oldest son who was supposed to be married this Saturday, had an accident on his 4 wheeler while looking for his Dad, and they thought he broke his neck, but he is going to be ok We have to go to the funeral in the morning, I am really dreading that, I can't stand the thought of seeing those poor boys have to say goodbye to their Dad,just breaks my heart. On a happier note, I just ordered the book, how to homeschool with a meek and quiet spirit, I'm thinking my kids will be blessed by that!lol, I usually am not very meek and quiet, I came from a home of yellers, Oh I hate it, and I so want to break that curse, so I am reading this book!!!!!! Well I am pooped, and I am off to bed. Untill next time..... |
