What a day we have had, I think I woke up running,although I'm not sure, I opened my eyes, and Tanner was in my room, I said what time is it, 8:00 mom, why?AHHH,I jumped out of bed, I was supposed to be at the Lock in at 8:15 to pick up my niece,so up my hair went,clothes on, coffee in hand, eyes barely open, Brain not quite functioning yet, out the door I went! What a way to wake up, (sigh). On the way I saw several garage sales, not being awake yet, I almost stopped at one (because my car always stops at garage sales) lol, but my brain was starting to kick in, and I thought I better pick my niece up,seeing as how the night before, I assured her mother who was going out of town, that this was not a problem for Super Mom, who is always up very early. Anyway I picked her up,on time believe it or not,and I could have stopped at the garage sale too, because the little booger was still asleep when I got there! This afternoon Bynard got done a little early and he took me to Sulpher Springs to do some shopping, Tanner and Abby went with us, and Michael and Ben stayed home. We had a really good time, Found Tanner some really cool distressed American Eagle jeans for 12.99, What a Deal!, That was worth the whole trip, he really needed some new jeans for church. On the way home, he and Abby decided to argue about everything! Dad and I were getting really annoyed..... So we came up with a new plan, every time they argue, tattle, or call names, they will stop what they are doing and write sentences, I figure we are killing two birds with one stone here, they will get tired of writing, but they are working on their writing skills , while learning a lesson at the same time! Well, it was about 5 minutes after we told them of our new plan, that we were able to enforce it!!!!! Already I have decided that we are GENIUS, (grin), they have been so nice to each other since we have been home. The kids have been house sitting for our new neighbors for the last 4 days, Abby kept their fish, and Tanner and Michael fed and watered their two dogs,I was so worried that they would forget to do something,the fish would die etc.... Well the Genius mother that I am, took Tanner and we went over the other night to check on the house and the dogs, and while we were there, I decided we should refresh the water in the pool that the dogs drink from, well Tanner turned the water on and we played with the dogs a minute and...... you guessed it, we just turned around and came home. The next morning as soon as my eyes opened, I thought OH MY GOSH, did we turn the water off, so I ran to the door and looked out, no water,Whew. Hubby calls about 30 minutes later and says, you didn't turn the water off last night it was running down the street this morning! ( I had to tell these people who I barely know, that I ,not the kids, left their water on all night long!) Luckliy she was very nice about it, but I told the kids they couldn't accept any money from her, we probaly owe her money for her water bill!!!!! Well I am now doing the bulletins for church, so I need to get busy,or we will not have them in the morning. God Bless.
