Well it is 7:30am and I am enjoying my coffee, I love peace time, when all of the kids are asleep,God has been dealing with me though in many areas, someone at church told me that I was coming up higher, and I feel like God is pruneing me right now....Oh and some days it really stinks(grin), he is dealing with me about setting a Godly example for my kids, my husband, and to make time for him, first and foremost, So my goal this year is to make time for him first thing in the morning, no computer (sigh), no phone, just me and my bible and prayer list. Funny thing is, the devil can't stand it, so he trys to put roadblocks in my way, something God has dealt with me about is raising my boys to be Godly men, and that entails, respect of women, not to think they have to date tons of girls, but to pray and ask God to place the girl in their life that he has for them, well the guy that works for my husband is constantly talking to them about girls, and other innappropriate things, to him this is just life, So now I need to pray, because I know God has called us to a higher standard, and I want to meet that standard,and I want my boys to have a good life,not go through the things I had to go through,although God blessed me anyway, I want what the Lord wants for them. We had a single mother in our church who could not afford school clothes for her two children, so our church got together and purchased some things for them, it was so much fun, I bought them 2 outfits each and socks and underwear, and with the rest of the money two ladies from church went to Dallas and bought them a ton of adorable clothes, we get to deliver them this morning at 10, I can't wait to see those little ones faces!!!! It felt so good to do for someone else, especially in this area, I used to start school with maybe 2 pairs of jeans and two shirts, and one pair of shoes(hence the shoe fetish I now have)lol, so this was close to my heart, and these ladies bought name brand stuff, abercrombie, old navy etc. so these are gonna be some happy kiddos! And It is almost 8 am so I need to get a shower so I can get some things done before I leave, so Untill next time....... |
