A Little Nervous

Posted in School Days

I'm a little nervous.  Ok. I'm actually excited, but nervous at the same time - am I allowed to feel both?  Ok.  Well, my kids are begging to go through their new school books and I'm excited to use my new pens and note pads...  and... well...  we'll start tomorrow (or today if you are reading this on Monday).  It's so fun to start up the new school year.  I really feel ready.  I just loved going to Target and buying all those fun school supplies - the rulers, the crayons, the notebooks...etc.  Fun!  I am definately a Laura Ingles at heart... I was born to be a teacher!!!  My Almonzo (really my hubby's name is Greg) will be working away from home - but we'll chat through out the day and share of the victory with second and fifth grade!!!  Wow.  Just think, I'll be able to learn my times tables again!  Hurray!  I guess it doesn't matter that my dry erase board is needing a replacement (found that out just today) and my stand for the board is no where to be found (found that also out today)... but... I'm excited!!!  The Lord is definately in this because I believe without Him,  I would be going nuts just thinking about homeschooling with a broken ankle, a toddler (well, almost) and all those other things!   Hmmm...

Housework...  take a back seat...  school is here!
