Show And Tell Friday

OK

Today, my Friday Show and Tell item is my NEW vaccum (my daugther loves it).  May not seem like much, but can you believe I got it for free?  I'm not a dumpster diver, by no means, but my neighbor picked this up from somewhere and found out that it didn't have a cord - so they threw it  away.  WHAT???  It's brand new!!!  Of course, being that my husband works in construction, he sees new products such as these, all the time, being tossed out of models and put in the trash.  Why?  Because they only used the appliances for decoration in models. Usually, the cords are cut from the appliances to keep people from stealing (only in California.lol.).  Funny thing is, my hubby has come home with lots of new stuff that he adds a cord to!  So, seeing this new vacuum sitting outside - with stickers still on the item and no one to own it...  well, we just couldn't help ourselves!  So, we adopted the poor thing and added a cord.  Needless to say, we threw out our old vacuum and am forever grateful to the replacement!  It's so much better!!!  I believe this is how the Lord blesses people...  unexpectantly.  We really needed a new vaccum.  So, PRAISE GOD for this show and tell item!!!  Isn't God cool?

Now its' your turn...   want to read more Show and Tell posts or share one yourself?  Well, Canadagirl has a whole slu of great items featured on her blog and she's wanting more.  What are you waiting for??? Go visit Mary and tell her that you have a great show and tell item to post on your blog...   She will then link you to the many other homeschool bloggers that are participating.  It's FUN!
