Show and Tell Friday - Laundry

My Amazing Heap of Laundry!

Look at this pile carefully...  see my cat on the right?  Well, this is my adorable 18 pound cat lost in my pile of laundry.  Although I would like to talk more about my cat "Blue" and how she came about living at my house...  I chose another show and tell topic today!  My Laundry!  Yes, I did the unthinkable.  I stacked an unthinkable amount of clean laundry on my bed - in hopes to document my ability to become super woman and put it all away!!!

A king size bed with every corner filled with clean clothes!  A little too much, don't you agree?  Well, this pile, embarrassing enough, has been pushed from the bed to the floor, to the bed, to the baskets, to the bed... and to the floor all week!  When I started to tell my dear children that their socks weren't that dirty and that they could wear them again, I KNEW it was time to do some work on my laundry pile!   Homeschool mom or not - I need to keep my house in order and with this amazing pile of clothes - there was no order!!!   I feel like I can finally come out from behind my pillow ...

and share my success in "giving up"  and proudly exclaim that I will not mutter these same words again:

"You can get one more day out of those jeans, right honey?

Well, to my amazement (and my husband), I can proudly say that I have a clean bed with NO laundry!!!  Look...  here's proof to what an hour of hard elbow grease can do:

All is hung up and all is put away!!!

I am no longer troubled by the call of the clothes!

Well, that is until tomorrow... when it all starts again!
