And The Ugly...
or is it
The Bad, The Ugly and The Good?

The Bad:  It has been a....  lets say... very interesting last few days here in blogland.  Crazy behind-the-scene stuff.   Little did you know that controversy has been hitting the internetwaves on the Homeschool Blog Award Site!  Praise God we have a bunch of wonderful Christian women working hard to do-the-right thing.   Unfortunately, all is still not settled - legalities with rules and regulations.  I'm going to respect everyone's privacy by not sharing in detail the issues, or why they came up in the first place, but you are welcome to go directly to the HSBA site and read any news when they are posted by clicking here

The Ugly:  As far as where I stand ~  Well, I was told yesterday that the "new" rules and regulations eliminated me from participating in the blog awards - that's even though I had no direct contact with the actual awards, polls, or voting.  All I did was write twice a month for the site about Blogs.  None-the-less, by the request of my husband, I had to resign.  The drama and politics were a little too much to handle.

The Good:  Fortunately, due to my resignation, I can now still participate in the awards again.  Funny how that works, but Hurray!   I was nominated in FIVE different categories (see sidebar) and am tremendously empowered by the kindness.  To be eliminated was depressing for me ~ I felt like I was letting my peers down or something.   Call me silly, but even if I loose - I know I did the right thing.  So, I guess the good news is that I'm back in the running.

How's that for The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly???  Crazy stuff...  but let's keep these group of ladies in prayer as they iron out the ugly part of their position as site contributors.  Some times the behind-the-scene stuff can really get sticky when outside opinions creeps in.  They need our support.

Thanks everyone for your support!
