Gum and Tape - Creative Ideas

Photobucket

What do you do with a whole lot of time on your hands?  You get creative!  Two weeks off from school with a little Christmas and New Years added in  - needless to say, my boys have been running around and getting creative with anything they could find!  This past week they decided to get into dad's painter's tape and make a mask.  I'm not exactly sure what kind of Superhero my youngest son is supposed to be in this picture, but I do know that the cool January temperature didn't make a difference in his decision to go shirt-less.

What you can't see is how creative he got with his lunch pail that Grandma gave him full of gum!  Oh yes...  a pair of scissors and sticky fingers was a sure give-a-way of some added extra creativeness.  Oh, the tiny bald spot on top of his head also helped add a little "flare" to his personality.  Gum in the hair, tape on his face...   Let's just say, I'm looking forward to starting up school again on Monday.

On that note (lol) I'm reminding all of you of Next Wednesdays - Weblink Wednesday post.  I'm hosting the meme every other Wednesday with a reminder at the top of my page.  I want to incorporate all of your wonderful links to help each other out for the following month.  Something that can help us build our unit studies and extra filler work.   So, be sure to gather those links and get ready to post like crazy NEXT Wednesday.  Thanks.
