Southern California Rain

Posted in Home Sweet Home

Rain, Rain... Go Away...  Come again another day...

If you have watched the news, you'll know that we are getting pounded with rain!  Lots of it.  The good thing about the rain is that Southern California will soon be green again.  It doesn't take long to get our grass and shrubs green!  Hurray!  Maybe now we wont be in such a drought...  water restrictions is a hard thing to bare with three kids and laundry!

Needless to say...  our town is soaked!  Puddles everywhere and gray skies.  We don't live exactly near any burn areas, so mud slides are not affecting our area.  We do have some construction going on north of us a mile, and the road has been closed, but all is safe.  Besides a birthday party for my nephew today - we plan on baking brownies and staying inside.

Hope all is good where you live - Snow?  Sleet?  Hail?  Rain?  Please share.
