No Worries In California...

* Please bare with me as I try to answer all your e-mails and visit your blogs*
*I hope to be back on track this weekend*

It's Friday and California has kept me busy!  With all the news circling, creating fear in  homeschool families everywhere, I find myself in the middle of it all -  finding good comfort and promises from the Lord while weeding through the facts.   Fear tends to make people crazy - and there is a lot of that going on around here.  People are jumping on the wagon of it is illegal to homeschool here now and afraid to go outside...  some are even making plans to move.  I'm sure more families will be in church this Sunday, too.   (At least the pews will be filled).

Rest assure, it is still safe to homeschool in California.  We need to sit patiently pray and watch as the case is brought to the Supreme Court.  It is then our future of homeschooling will be determinded.   Getting something to the Supreme Court can take months and even years.  Even then, if homeschooling becomes illegal in California, there will be a transition time period set to enroll your child into a structured school facility.  It wont sneak up on us as a surprise or word of mouth...  there will be letters sent, public hearings, television focus and much more.  More than 166,000 families in California would be affected; therefore, it wont come as a surprise.

Onto other stuff...  a reminder:
