I just wanted to say thank you for all your messages sent to me privately and on my comment board.  I appreciate your concern about my hand injury.  I thought I would update everyone on how it is doing here as a post to help respond to the questions.  

If you are unaware of  what happened to me, I'll recap the 'grand' event.  My son accidently closed my hand in our van door last Monday. Ouch! I went to the doctor the next day and had it x-rayed.  They saw that there was no definite break, but it was too soon to show any hairline fracture (swelling).  They sent me home with my fingers taped to relieve the pain and limit the movement of the two bones that connect my ring and middle finger. I'm supposed to go back in one more week if the pain is still there and get another x-ray. Unfortunately, my hand is still the same - no real improvement. Most of the pain is at night when I sleep, but I'm managing.  I can still type, but am slow... and I can still do lots of things.  I just don't have any strength to hold objects or squeeze in my right hand.  I would appreciate your prayers for a speedy recovery. 

It's silly since it hasn't even been a year since my ankle injury!!!  I guess I'm accident prone now that I'm older.  lol.  Anyway, thanks for asking everyone.  I appreciate it.
