| For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. |
| — Jeremiah 29:11 |
Exhortation: In the words of Corrie ten Boom, "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God." It's it great to know that God is in control of our future?! He is ready to bless us in this journey of life. We must be ready to walk with Him, worshipping Him and obeying Him.
Recently, I have found the time to reflect on the past year and all the events that have entered my life (and there have been many). It was a hard year filled with personal trials and struggles, but it was also a wonderful year filled with spiritual growth and precious time with my children and husband. During this precious time of reflection, I have come to accept that the Lord wants more of me. This is why I have made a change with my blog...
Not only is the template and side bars different, but my blog will now become more of a ministry tool to encourage moms out in blogland. Of course I will occasionally have fun day-in and day-out entries, but over all I want to use my gift of encouragement to help other homeschool families. By sharing what the Lord is doing in my life, my hope is to be an inspiration to those who read my ramblings of success and failures.
I am still blessed to have Weblink Education up and running. Be sure to stop by and see the latest weblinks that I add the beginning of each month. Also, I have a growing e-mail newsletter Words Of Encouragement. that provides additional weblinks to lapbooks and/or unit studies (among other fun things). I welcome your subscription (it's free).
Well, I hope to get around Blogland and meet many new people as well as say hello to some old friends. Enjoy your week!!!
