Gone VBS Crazy!

When school ends, summer begins...  which means that our calendar gets full of family fun activities and Vacation Bible School!  I don't know about your family, but my children LOVE Vacation Bible School.  In fact, we try to attend at least two a summer.  There is nothing like a week filled with sports, scripture, crafts, and singing!!!

We just finished our first VBS for the summer...  It was called: "Glory Lab Science Adventure".  They made homemade gak, flarp, candy, and bubble socks.  Lots of fun, but lots of work.  My eldest son was too old to attend as a participant this year, so he became a volunteer.  There's something to say about leadership as an eleven year old. lol.  Proud to lead his group of second graders, he ditched every camera opportunity I could get.  Therefore, my youngest son was the only one to display the smiles for me.  He even got his neighborhood friend, who also attended, to smile for the camera, too.
