We had a WONDERFUL Father's Day! The boys got up early and made dad homemade cards and breakfast. Cooper Kid made pancakes from scratch and Kung-fu Panda made his famous Ranch scrambled eggs. I literally just supervised.
After church we all went to my brother-in-law's house for the day. He was recently married in Jan. to his long lost love of 30 yrs-(it's quite a love story- I'll have to tell it another time, though).
My new sister-in-law, Aunt Weezie-as the boys like to call her, did a bang-up job. We had quite a spread AND she did gifts for EVERYONE!! (This must be her love language!) Kung-fu Panda grabbed the camera and this is what he shot-

I may just be a proud mama, but I thought this was a GREAT shot!!This is my new sis-Weezie!!
We had a crazy silly string fight that my mother and father-in-law also participated in!! How cool is that?!? There were my two boys and my niece, DK, me and Weezie spraying string EVERYWHERE!! I laughed so hard I thought I would wet my pants!

This is how G'Pa ended up!! What fun!
We (I should say 'they') went outside for a water balloon and squirt gun fight. It turned into a hose and bucket fight. (This seemed to be much easier and not as time consuming as filling the water balloons!) I myself stayed inside where it was dry and cool. I let Aunt Weezie and Dad play w/the kids. Everyone was happy this way! Yes, sadly I became a party pooper for this one. Not feelin' guilty, though so don't even ask!! Ha Ha Ha

Kung-fu Panda is trying to get Dad with the bucket of water! He was successful in case you were wondering!
All in all, when Ned came to bed last night his comment to me was 'This has been the best father's day I've ever had.' This made it all worth it!!
