For those of us who live in the desert, I found a great and CHEAP way to spend an afternoon! I found a community pool that only cost us $2.50 for the three of us. It has waterslides, lap pool, diving board area, kiddie area w/minislide and jungle gym area, whirlpool and a small lazy river. We took water and some snacks and that was the total cost!!
Here is a picture of the pool we went to yesterday!!
We had a blast! (It didn't hurt that it was cheap too!)You could stay all day (10am -8 pm) or for just a short time for the same cost!
I know this doesn't help those who don't have community pools, but for those who do, try it out!!

They just voted out the waterpark proposal in this area. Which for us was fine since we would not have used it. We are only 10 mins from Lake Mohave and go there. The kids love it and it's free to get in after 5 pm.

I love that pool!! I don't take the kids there enough - but with gas prices, it's not very economical, either! :(

Ohhh what a BARGIN !!! I think it costs 2.50 per person to get into our pool in town. You have a GOOD deal !!!

Wow that looks fabulous! Our community pools are by the year here but still cost less than the YMCA.

I wish we could go to our community pool. We aren't allowed because we have too many kids. We have 6 and you can only have 4.
That pool you went to looks awesome! I can't believe it is only a couple of dollars. Great deal!

$2.50 for all day. What a deal. We don't have a pool in our town. But, we'll be moving soon to a city that has one. I'll have to check and see what the price is.
