Anti Procrastination Wednesday

Posted in Anti Procrastination Tuesday

Hello and welcome to Anti Procrastination Wednesday!! If you'd like to join me and others in encouraging each other to get those pesky little projects we keep putting off done, please go see our wonderful host Mary over @ Canadagirl!!!

Has it been a week already? (here you insert a visual picture of me hanging my head, hands behind my back and scuffing my foot in the dirt) I didn't get ANYTHING done this week. : {

I must ask, in all humbleness, for an extension. Not only do I feel I will not get it all done by next week, but we are financially unable to get all the things we need ordered at once. We are going to piece meal it out over the next few weeks. Hopefully by mid-October we will be up and fully homeschooling!

I have a pretty extensive list of things set up for the '08-09 school year so piece-mealing it out works for me. We'll start the subject as soon as the book comes in. We, technically, have already started school this year. We are doing a 50 states and Apologia science class with our co-op which started Sept. 15th.

I appreciate all of you who are encouraging me along the way. Some days that's what helps me get these 'projects' done!! : }

I'll have great progress to report next week!!!

Until then....

Oh, Robyn, don't worry about it! These AP projects are only meant to encourage us, not bring us down. And it's really neat to be able to share our successes with others! You'll get done what you can, and it will be terrific!

Happy 1st day of school? Or is that next Monday... Where did your break go?? I can't believe it's been a month already.

Okay, back to the kitchen!

((((HUGS))))

So how was the weekend with Hubby?
I really think we do not give ourselves enough credit in this challenge thing....Don't look at what you did not accomplish on the list. ( BTW what is the orginal challenge you are extending on!?) Look at what life threw at you this past week and all the wonderful things you did or actually accomplished. Resting should be on the list! Time alone with family and hubby....one on one time with the kids. Major accomplishments in my book!

I was beginning to feel like I was the only one starting school in the "middle" of the year. I just ordered my books last week ("piece-meal" style :-) ). You have no idea how glad I am to hear that someone else is "with me." LOL

Don't worry about it! You'll get it done!

We started school in July and then ended up only working sporadically in August and September because things got so weird. Now we're moving to a state where I have to turn in quarterly reports and individual instruction plans. AHHHHH!!!!! Just when I really need to call packing a life skill, I have to break out the spelling books instead. Oh well. We'll get there right? As I like to say - Semper Gumbi! Always flexible!
I'll be cheering (and praying) for you!
Jennifer
