Hello all my wonderful bloggy friends!! I'm still alive!!! : }
I've been MIA for awhile! We started school a few weeks back and I wanted to get the kids and I in the 'habit' of doing school the right way for us!! (ie - getting up, doing devotions, getting right on school and THEN playing! )
Well, by the time it came to 'playing time', it was time to finish up the housework, do dinner, and then I was just too tired to 'play'!!
Now that we're in a rhythym I thought I'd catch back up with everyone!!
We have been doing some crazy science experiments; music theory, and my 13 yr old has started writing persuasive papers!! Wow. He's getting pretty good at trying to persuade me! : }
We've also been doing some election stuff in our 50 states co-op. I'm really learning A LOT of stuff. Stuff I never really understood when I was in school!! I just love that about homeschooling!! I get to learn too!! : }
Well, that's it for the short recap!! I hope to have pics up in a few days!!
As Tigger would say...TTFN!!
Ta Ta For Now!!!

Has anyone ever heard of the book 'Do Hard Things'? Well, I never had until last weekend.
My hubby and I were in the Family Christian Bookstore when he ran across it. After reading the cover and discussing it we decided to take the plunge and purchase it. It is a book FOR teens BY teens!! RIGHT ON!!!
Well, we looked up their website, www.therebelution.com when we got home and were thoroughly impressed!! It has quite a bit to offer including a study guide!!
YEAH!!!! We have decided to make this a part of our schooling! I haven't been this excited in quite awhile!!
This leads me to why I'm blogging about this. Well, when I shared that it was the book I was reading in my Simple Woman's blog, Lisa from Quingly Things commented that I should blog about it.
Hmmm, that's a great idea" I thought. And voila~ here I am, blogging about it. This is the beginning of the journey and I am going to try and blog about it once a week!!
I'd love to have you join me in the journey. We could read and discuss what we've learned (or what our kids are learning) every week.
Hold on! It promises to be quite a ride!!
