The Storm and An Update
The sky is quickly turning dark, the wind is picking up speed and force. The leaves and grass turn to a slick green as a fierce rain descends upon the earth. Lightining flashes in the now nearly black sky. The thunder growls, low and harsh. It is answered by a sharp shriek sound, then the light comes again.
In such a storm, one is powerless. You can't do anything. You can only pray that the storm will pass without harming your family, home and land.
All the money in the world can't stop a furious display like this. All the power ever posessed by man cannot command the winds, lightning, thunder or rain. The strongest person can't keep the trees from being ripped from the ground.
But then, it's all over. The rain stops, letting the water quickly flow down the hills, gulleys and ditches without adding to the amount. The lightining leaves, giving way to the sun. The thunder ceases it's powerful roars and whip like shrieks. The wind stills, letting nothing but a calm breeze flow over your
skin as you go outside to see the glory of a new day.
In the storms of life, we must remember that there is an end to the trouble, worry and pain. Our Father
is watching over us, and He has said He will give us no more than we can bear. So trust in Him; the stom will pass and give way to the glory of happiness and blessed peace.
I was bored, so I thought I would type that up real quick. :-)
I've already posted this on my other blog, but...
My Mama is pregnant!! Yay!! She's pretty sure she's due sometime in September.
We've been wanting baby number five for a while now.
Okay, I'm gonna re-do my blog.
Hugs,
Becca
