Fighting Against Stupid Facebook Applications
I've been on Facebook for a while now. It got to the point where all the applications on there were bugging me real bad. So I figured out a way to block the applications on other people's pages so that it's easier to comment on their pages.
If you want to follow suit and say no to spam. Here's how I did it.
You have to remove all third-party applications. Then you have to un-authorize any applications that you have authorized. Once you do those two things, you can go here and select the "Do not share any information about me through the Facebook API" box. Click save and you're good to go. No more pages of endless applications that you have to scroll through just to comment on someone's page.
I'm just waiting to see if it stops the requests... I'll be sure to mention if it does or not in a couple of days.
