It is my hope that I can gain just enough knowledge about the whole HTML thing that I can personalize my blog to really reflect me.

This is much better! I can see it fine now, but the red on white is a bit hard to read. I do know how to change that. Did you know that your "header" is missing....a little red X in the upper left-hand corner. I know how to put headers in, too. :-)

And backgrounds. If you get desperate (because I'm not that good...I know just enough to be dangerous) you can e-mail me your template (copy and paste into the body of an e-mail) and I can put it on my Practice Blog (yeah, some of us have special blogs JUST to mess around with our templates. When we like them, we copy and paste them into our REAL blog). You can "create new blog" to use as a practice one; delete when you're done. It's fun.

I'd never experiment on my REAL blog! I'd lose it for sure, because my mouse suddenly clicks on the wrong button and I'm dead! And I copy and paste my template onto a Notepad file and save it on my computer JUST IN CASE. One never knows!
