• Sep. 14, 2006 - Successful week
Hello, everyone!! We have had a successful week of homeschooling. Bryce has been working on his Explode the Code book 1. This week we introduced the short u sound. Our Bible lessons have been fun this week. We did a worksheet on the Good Samaritan. We also colored a "Love is" page from 1 Corinthians. Blaine has been working with us on our Bible lessons and he has been working on positional words too. Cutting and pasting have been done this week also. Today they both played on Time4Learning. Bryce completed 5 lessons while Blaine just played the educational games. Tomorrow we will go the Neighborhood School to meet our prayer partner child, Adrian. The school is a charter school for children from other cultures that have relocated to the Memphis area. There will be snacks and lots of games, so it should big fun.

• Sep. 11, 2006 - Lesson Plans
Hello everyone!! I spent about 2 hours yesterday working on my lesson plans for Bryce and Blaine for this week. We have a full week of lessons to do and we will have a field trip on Friday to the Neighborhood school. We have accepted one of the kids there, Brandon, as a prayer partner. They will be having a birthday party and it will be great for the boys to meet children from other cultures. |

• Sep. 9, 2006 - Hello, Everyone!!
Hello, and welcome everyone!! I set this up by myself!! I am astounded that I was able to do it without the help of my techno wizzard husband. I am homeschooling my youngest 2 sons and we are having a blast. Right now they are 5 and 3 and we are just enjoying our days, learning about GOD and the world in which we live. I am excited to have a homeschool blog. I found about this through interaction on homeschoolreviews.com, a web-site that I frequent often. LOL
I look forward to recording what we are doing each week and I look forward to getting to know other homeschoolers who "blog" also. This is sooooooo exciting.
May GOD's blessings rest upon each of you who read this.
With love, Robin
