Aw.. that's cute about the girls taking ballet. I was a ballerina all my life, so I know how much fun that is. ;-)
I think you're right in the way you're looking at that little girl, as a "diamond in the rough." It is tough to deal with behavior problems. I often ask God to help me see people the way He sees them and love them the way He loves them... def. not always easy, but it's good when I allow Him to help me do that.
