Our week has been very uneventful, my dh went on a great interview on Monday and we are still waiting to here. We are praying and hoping this is one, so far this is the only one that has been remotely interested. It sounds like a great job and one dh I think would really enjoy. We are still studying immigration this week and Grover Cleveland (notice that I did spell it correctly not like on my kids sheets GROOVER). We are also working on our model of the Statue of Liberty, which has turned into quite a little project to say the least. So far we have made the arm and torch and affixed it too the water bottle. Today we are going to work on the book arm. We are also getting into the "Captains of Industry" and who they were and how they earned the millions. We are anxiously waiting for the co-op schedule to come out, we are going to be registering on the 3rd Saturday this month. So dd comes and asks every morning did it come out yet, nope not yet. I can't believe it is so close to co-op time already. I am trying to get my classes planned, in fact I am waiting for one of book studies I am using to come by Mr. UPS dude. I have most of the weather class I am teaching planned. My literature class I don't think will be much work to plan it, I just need to re-read those two books again. My geography class is a little more work, it is hard to do a U.S geography study for 1st-3rd graders that isn't too much and still fun. Cantering the Country is way too much and so I am piece it together. Ohh well that is our week so far! |
