My oldest daughter (16) is very bright.  However, she needs a curriculum that is easy to understand.  She needs things broken down.  Anyway, we have been doing 10th grade Switched on Schoolhouse, which she has enjoyed, but the Chemistry is just very vague.  I wondered if anyone has a great suggestion for Chemistry.  I was leaning towards Apologia but have recently been told that it is very difficult.  I want our homeschool experience to be fun and not a place where we get frustrated because a curriculum is to hard or not easily understood.  Do you have any suggestions?

Have you ever used Lifepacs? Whenever my kids stuggle with a subject I tried lifepacs and they seemed to be able to understand them better. I am not 100% sure on high school science but Lifepacs seem to work better for us in many subjects. Just a suggestion!
