POTTY TIME!
I had enough... I decided that, since DD was fully capable of using the potty, and was doing so both on her own (on occasion) and with me putting her there, it was time for her to be trained.
What this means in our house, obviously depends on the child.
With DS, it was to let him run naked... catch him going and sticking
him on the potty.
With DD, this method did not works so well... so now we get the scheduling going...
She has been able to use the potty for a year or so, and is definitely
not frightened of it. Mostly, I have been waiting for weather
warm enough to allow her to roam around with a 'nudey bum' under her
dresses. I wouldn't say it is warm yet, but it certainly is not
freezing either... so now, she is busy getting potty trained... and I
have my hands full!
HOUSECLEANING TIP: When cleaning out my oven yesterday... the so-called continuous cleaning oven,
I was unable to get the brown gunk off of the oven window. In
comes DH to the rescue, like a white Knight... he gets the scraper with
which he removes the stickers from his car windshield, and uses it to
remove the gunk. Works like a charm!!

Mar. 3, 2006 - Best tip ever
I never even mentioned to Ethan about going to the potty. We would just say "Yay!! Daddy went potty!!" and dance all over the house and then give daddy three M&M's!...After two days of quietly comtemplating everyone in the house getting sang and danced for (and given M&M's) Ethan woke up one morning and said "I GOTTA GO PEE!!!" and ever since has been completely potty trained.
