Welcome to My Blog!

Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for! I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all! This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here. Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. Please let me know if you do! Blessings!

A Little Reflection

Posted in Mom Things
Well, I've just finished moving my favorite entries from my old location to the new. It was fun to take a quick trip down Memory Lane as I moved each one. I remember some of those days and moments as if it was just yesterday. Some seem like they were so long ago, I can barely remember them.

Sweet memories. Interesting memories. Memories you never want to forget. Memories you hope to forget someday! These are MY memories! Lucky you, you get to share in them if you have the patience and tenacity to read each one. (I hope you enjoy them.)

But, we can't forget the element of home schooling. So, class, what have we learned?

We've learned that this teacher either does not know, or cannot decide on, the appropriate spelling of a certain spicy pepper out of Mexico!

I'll have to figure that one out someday.

Habanero or Jabanero? (If you know my last name because you are a close friend, then you know why I would lean toward Jabanero.)

*I have been informed that it is, in fact, HABANERO!*

Yay! I now know it could be Habanero! I knew that was the pepper I wanted, but went with Jalepeno for awhile because I didn't know how to spell either of them well.

Note to self: Take Spanish spelling lessons!
