Welcome to My Blog!
Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for!
I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all!
This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here.
Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. Please let me know if you do!
Blessings!

Good Science?
Last night I was recuperating from my shoveling "stuff" earlier. (See "Water, Water Everywhere entry.)
So, as I surf the Dish channels, I find Discovery's new show about dinosaurs returning to life. Oh, dear. You know I had to watch it, don't you? These are the kinds of shows that provoke deep emotional responses within me. Have you seen it yet?
My thoughts, of course, just begin at the words "millions and billions of years ago" and continue with experimentation with mutations yielding chickens with odd characteristics. I suppose you have to sacrifice the time to watch a show like this in order to really know how to respond to this entry, but it sure made me think.
They want to recreate some dinosaurs. Intriguing thought. Of course, movies have been made about such things. "Jurassic Park" wasn't exactly a good example of a prototype, if such a thing could exist.
I'd love to know your thoughts on the manipulation of these chicken embryos. I'd love to know what you're thinking about science cloning and mutating things. I imagine there are two sides to this, both good and bad. My head actually reels with thoughts on both sides of the argument.
I do have a new joke for you, by the way. Just in case you think this is too serious a post for your day. *grin*
What do you call a group of scientists recreating T-Rex?
Wait for it. . . .
Wait for it. . . .
LUNCH! *Bahahahahahahahahahaha!*
Seriously though, I'd like to see what Jay Wile has to say about these kinds of things. I'm sure it's more at the forefront of his mind, right?
