Welcome to My Blog!

Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for! I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all! This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here. Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. Please let me know if you do! Blessings!

And NOW. . .What You've Been Waiting For. . .

Posted in Tickling the Funny Bone
You knew I couldn't *not* give you the answers, right? If you missed the questions, check out Sunday's post first. Guess the answers without looking at the other comments. Then come back here and see just how smart you really are. ;')

Remember: Don't look here until you've guessed on Sunday's thread first!

You're on your honor. . . .  *laugh*

Really, you are. . . .   ;')

1. The third room. Lions that haven't eaten in three years are dead. That one was easy, right?

2. The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her husband, developed it, and hung it up to dry (shot; held under water; and hung).

3. Charcoal, as it is used in barbecuing.

4. Sure you can name three consecutive days, yesterday, today, and tomorrow!

5. The letter e, which is the most common letter used in the English language, does not appear even once in the paragraph.

I got the first one right and then decided that life is too short to spend too much time trying to figure out the rest of the answers. But you have given me a great idea! We have the game Mind Trap and that is exactly what this is. Perhaps I should start a Mind Trap Day (since I hold all the question cards) and see if homeschool moms have the energy and/or desire to try and test their logic ability. It would be fun to write the questions and make everybody else answer them. I wonder how many homeschool moms want to feel like THEY are back in school again! LOL

Again, like you, this kind of thing is fodder for blog posts!
