Welcome to My Blog!
Schooling two active boys has never been more... interesting. That's the word I'm looking for!
I love my boys! God has given them the blessing of strong, active bodies and minds. We continually pray the first will remain intact, and the second will remain engaged with Him first, and then the school work. You'll meet my sweet sons, both entirely different, but both loving God to the best of their ability in the way He made them. I lovingly refer to them as my Bell Pepper Boy and my Habanero or Hambone. That should say it all!
This blog is an eclectic mix. The events, conversations, and the thoughts behind it all will be in here.
Every once in a while I'll try to capture something I don't want to forget. I hope you find things you enjoy. Please let me know if you do!
Blessings!

April and Fools. . .
Posted in God Things
I was tempted. Ohhhhh, was I tempted to try a quick April Fool's Day gag! I mean, one day a year we can try to pull the wool over our friends' eyes and it's somewhat culturally acceptable and cool. Right?
If yesterday had been a different day, I might have attempted something today in the Blog Universe. However, it was all I could muster to make frozen pizza for breakfast served with cold, green milk. Yeah, green was the color that fell out of the food coloring box first. *laugh* So, your expectation of a "funny" today just won't happen.
Are you okay with that? :'P
Here's my entry instead. You see, I personally needed a little time in the Bible to calibrate my heart and mind this morning (almost afternoon). So, lucky you, here is the fruit of my labor. *grin*
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline." ~ Proverbs 1:7
"How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?" ~ Proverbs 1:22
"The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice." ~ Proverbs12:15
"A wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." ~ Proverbs 14:1
It's the last one there that gets my attention today. I am forced to ask myself if I am building up or tearing down. Each thought, word and action I choose is one or the other, I imagine.
Hmmmmm.
Note to self: Day One of the 30-Day Challenge is underway! (What have you read today?)
